What is Konjac?
Amorphophallus konjac or konjac for short, is a perennial herb that is known to grow at elevations of 2500 meters. This plant is indigenous to the tropical and subtropical zones in the Eastern Hemispere like Japan, China, Korea. As a skin care product, the Konjac Plant produces natural antioxidants and vitamins. Konjac sponges is a premival beauty practice for skin cleaning and exfoliation used by women in many Asian countries. Konjac plant is 97% water and naturally alkaline which leaves skin balanced.

100% natural konjac root.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Softening by soaking in warm water for 3-5 minutes.
  • After softening squeeze out gently excess water between your palms and clean your skin in circular motions with or without cleansing soap. Avoid eye area.
  • After use rinse konjac glove thoroughly and squeeze gently between your palms, then dry in a cool place, away from light and humidity, for next use. Ulternatively you can dry it on the radiator.
  • Konjac glove is a sensitive product and should be treated with care in order to be maintained in a good condition as much as possible.
  • You should never use it on its hard shape.
  • Don’t soak in water for a long period of time.
  • Can be used daily or 1-2 times per week depending on your skin needs.
  • Once a week drop the glove in bowl of boiling water for a couple of minutes to sanitize it.
  • Replace the glove when it starts to look “tired” or if it breaks.
  • With proper care the glove will last 6-10 weeks.

Tip: You can keep your konjac glove in the fridge in order to maintain its freshness for a longer period of time.

  • Compost the konjac glove in household compost bin.
  • Recycle the packaging.
